Run For Rosa

On Friday the Grade 4-7 were delighted to meet Stuart Rayner who is embarking on a remarkable journey in memory of his cousin Rosa Carlyle-Mitchell. Starting on the16th July 2017 Stuart will be running 10 marathons of 42.5kms over 13 days to raise funds to send a child to King’s School. The children got to ask him about his training, diet, motivation and a whole bunch of other questions before joining him in a series of streches and going for a run around the schoolgrounds.

It was amazing to meet such a dedicated individual and we really appreciate his vision and tenacity. The school will be running on every day of his run and the children will be sending him messages of support throughout. If you would like to support this remarkable journey please go to the Run for Rosa Facebook page, like and share it with your friends and pledge to get out and do an activity that inspires you AND give a child the opportunity to attend this very special school.
